MSM index ends lower

Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 16.58 points, comprising a decline by 0.474 per cent to close at 3,483.89 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,500.47 points.
The trading value stood at OMR585,061, comprising a drop by 38.41 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at OMR950,000.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by 0.089 per cent to reach about OMR18.15 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR250,000, comprising 42.82 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR249,000, comprising 42.62 per cent. The net non-Omani investment rose by 0.19 per cent to OMR1,000.
