Ramadan: Ministry of Awqaf and Religious forms Committee

Muscat: A new Committee in the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs will determine the beginning of the Hijri month.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said, “His Excellency the Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs issued a Ministerial Decision No. 347/2020 to revamp the main committee to determine the crescent of the Hijri month. The committee shall determine the beginning of the Hijri month through the results received by the sub-committees.”
