MSM index ends lower

Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 39.07 points, comprising a decline by 1.104 per cent to close at 3,500.47 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,539.54 points.
The trading value today stood at OMR950,000, comprising a drop by 26.38 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at OMR1,290,472.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by 0.373 per cent to reach about OMR18.16 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR429,000, comprising 45.13 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR208,000, comprising 21.91 per cent. The net non-Omani investment rose by 23.22 per cent to OMR221,000.
