Coronavirus: Business owners urged to send expat workers for testing

Muscat: The General Directorate of Health Services in Al Dhahirah governorate have asked expat workers who show Covid-19 symptoms to visit the nearest health centre.

The General Directorate of Health Services in Al Dhahirah governorate said : “To people of Al Dhahirah governorate, through our continuous follow-up to government and private health institutions, we have noticed that the number of expat visitors are very few and it may be due to lack of awareness of the importance of access to health institutions and their lack of knowledge of the free testing and treatment of suspects and patients of Covid 19.”

“So we ask business owners and those who have expat workers who have any respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, throat pain or shortness of breath, to go to the nearest government health institution or medical fitness center in Ibri at the Expatriate Labour Test Center, to check them and carry out a free test and treatment.” the statement added.
