Indian Premier League 2020 postponed indefinitely

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) yesterday said that the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 has been postponed indefinitely due to the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
"IPL 2020 season has been postponed for an indefinite period," according to the BCCI sources
The BCCI may or may not consider a September-October window and this call will be taken depending on the global situation.
The IPL was scheduled to begin from March 29, but the tournament had to be postponed until April 15 due to the coronavirus pandemic. At the time of BCCI`s announcement, the Modi government had suspended all visas to India until April 15 as part of measures to contain the spread of the pandemic.
