MSM index ends lower

Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 lost 7.04 points, comprising a decline by 0.195 per cent to close at 3595.50 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3602.54 points.
The trading value stood at OMR 1,167,601, comprising a fall by 1.2 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at OMR1,182,037.
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value declined by 0.105 per cent to reach about OMR18.34 billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR280,000, comprising 23.98 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR432,000, comprising 36.98 per cent. The net non-Omani investment dropped by 13 per cent to OMR152,000.
