Special flights for the repatriation of Pakistani prisoners

Special flights from Muscat to Pakistan will be operating to repatriate Pakistani prisoners released from the Sultanate.

The flights are scheduled to take off on April 16 and April 17 to Lahore and Karachi, respectively.

HE KK Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman said that the two flights will be carrying around 350 prisoners.

"It is to be noted that these two flights to Pakistan are specifically arranged to carry around 350 prisoners and detainees in the Sultanate, and no others passengers will be sent." - HE KK Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman

He also added that out of the total prisoners released from the jails in the Sultanate, 146 have been given royal pardon.
