The Public Authority for Consumer Protection has issued a decision to discontinue the use of two sanitizers.
According to the authority, Perfect sanitizer and Clean Touch Hand sanitizer gel are the two sanitizers that have been banned.
It is done as its components did not meet the standard specifications.
"The reason for banning the two products is due to a lower percentage of ethanol, which must be more than 60 per cent. In addition, a high-level of methanol, which is a highly flammable substance and affects the nervous system, cause irritation to the respiratory system, skin and eyes, was found in these products." - PACP
