182 Omanis evacuated from Saudi Arabia

Muscat: A special Oman Air flight brought 182 Omani citizens from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Muscat here on Wednesday evening.

A statement issued online by Oman Air said, "Oman Air in direct coordination with the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs operated a flight from Muscat to Madinah, Dammam, and Riyadh to evacuate Omani citizens from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

The Government Communication Center said that the evacuated citizens who arrived on April 8 underwent medical examination and are being provided care under a team of specialized medical staff.

"The relief and shelter sector provides institutional isolation if there is no separate room and toilet for the person who is coming to Oman," the statement added.
