vThe Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday announced that it would contribute OMR 1 million to the job safety fund.
In addition to that, with another approval of OMR 1 million to support the government in its fight against COVID-19.
"The support for the job safety fund comes from the Chamber's representation in the private sector, with the aim of activating effective contributions to achieving safety for workers in the private sector and contributing to facing the emergency conditions faced by Omanis. In line with the directions by the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19, the Council also approved exempting affiliates from the arrears of renewal fees for the previous years.
