Coronavirus: Take precautionary measures, Ministry of Manpower tells companies

Muscat: The Ministry of Manpower has asked private sector institutions to follow precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in workplaces.

The Ministry said in a statement: "Pursuant to the directive of the competent authorities in the Sultanate to apply highest precautionary standards to reduce the impact of COVID-19 prevent it is spread and to promote preventative measure aimed at providing protection to citizens and residents."

“The Ministry of Manpower calls on private sector companies and institutes on the necessity to create a work system ensuring the progress of its work, while taking the necessary health and safety procedures and measures that provide the appropriate environment for its workers,” the statement added.
