Coronavirus: SQU Hospital suspends routine case services

Muscat: Keeping in mind the safety of patients, the Sultan Qaboos University has announced temporary suspension of services provided for routine patients till further notice.

The suspension includes routine appointments in the outpatient departments, laboratory tests, physical therapy, radiology and physiology, clinical nutrition clinics and operations departments in coordination with patients and without affecting their health.

The hospital said in its statement: "In line with the guidance of the University presidency and the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with coronavirus, SQU Hospital will suspending services provided for routine cases temporarily until further notice."

"These health services will be rescheduled as soon as possible and patients will be notified by call or text message," the hospital added.
