Coronavirus: Public parks closed in some parts of Oman

Muscat: Dhofar Municipality announced a closure of all public parks and asked citizens to avoid visiting open parks.

The Municipality said in a statement: "For implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19, the Dhofar Municipality has closed public parks and requests everyone to cooperate by not visiting open parks to preserve public health."

In addition, the Municipality announced the cancellation of winter market activities which were scheduled to be held in wilayat of Mirbat.
