Oman's Manpower Ministry stops use of biometrics internally

Muscat: The Ministry of Manpower has issued an internal decision to stop the use of biometrics for its employees.

An official from the Ministry, who spoke to Times of Oman said, "The Ministry issued today an internal decision for its employees to stop the use of fingerprint biometrics as a precaution to reduce the spread of COVID-19."
