Emergency declared in Palestine to counter coronavirus

Muscat: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has declared a 30-day state of emergency to counter the emerging coronavirus in Palestine.

The Oman News Agency (ONA), said an a statement, “The Palestinian President declares a 30-day state of emergency to counter the emerging coronavirus, which includes closing all educational facilities, suspending movement between governorates, preventing any manifestations of gathering and canceling reservations for foreigners in hotels.”
