The Ministry of Manpower arrested 12 workers from a number of restaurants at dawn on Thursday for violating labour laws.
“The Ministry represented on the joint inspection team in Muscat governorate, conducted an inspection campaign at dawn on Thursday, on a number of tourist restaurants in Muttrah (Wadi Al Kabir, Ruwi) and arrested 12 workers for violating labour laws, including four females workers.” – Ministry of Manpower
They added that legal procedures are being completed in their regard.
