​Ministry of Defence prepared to deal with coronavirus cases

Muscat: Ministry of Defence has confirmed that there are no coronavirus cases reported among its members.

The Ministry of Defence held a variety of educational and awareness lectures, under the auspices of Brigadier General, Chief Medical Services Officer of the Armed Forces, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to talk about precautionary measures and to find out the developments of the coronavirus in the Sultanate.

”The medical team of the armed forces are closely working with the National Health Committee of the Ministry of Health, to follow up on all developments,” a senior officer said.

"The Ministry of Defence hospital is prepared to deal with coronavirus cases if the need arises, medical materials are available, medical teams have undergone more training courses and specialized workshops have been conducted for workers, and educational aspects of many units of the Sultan Armed Forces in anticipation of any developments,” he added.
