Fourteen-year-old student commits suicide in Oman

A 14-year-old student took his own life by hanging himself from a bike tyre tube in his room.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at around 7 PM, a police official confirmed.
According to the Royal Oman Police, the child was a resident of Wilayat Ibri in Al Dhahirah governorate.
An argument with his father, who is said to have taken away his phone during lunchtime, led to the child taking this extreme step.
The Royal Oman Police are still conducting investigations and completing the rest of the legal procedures.
