Muscat: Omantel, the Sultanate’s largest telecom operator, and Oman Post, member of the Asyad Group, issued a collection of three stamps as part of Omantel’s nation-wide campaign ‘Amanna be Oman’ or ‘We Believe in Oman’ that was launched in 2019 to celebrate the 49th National Day.
The campaign rolls over into 2020 with Omantel celebrating the extraordinary lifelong achievements of the late HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour, may his soul rest in peace, with a host of activities including tribute videos and a photo gallery, while also commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Muscat International Book Fair.
The new collection of Oman Post three tribute stamps and a souvenir sheet were revealed by Talal Said Al Mamari, Chief Executive Officer of Omantel and Abdulmalik Al Balushi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Post in a special event held on the sidelines of the Muscat International Book Fair. The three stamps features quotes from the late HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour. The stamp collection will be available at the following Oman Post branches including Ruwi, Al-Khoudh, Jawharat Al Shatti, Salalah Central, Al Sa’adah, Al Awqadayn, Ibra, Sur, Nizwa, Bahla, Suhar, Al-Rustaq, Al-Buraimi, Ibri, and Khasab.
