Oman to screen travellers from these countries for coronavirus

Muscat: Passengers travelling to Oman from countries that have recorded high numbers of coronavirus infections will be subject to COVID-19 screening and possible quarantine.

Explaining the procedures the Sultanate had in place to stop potential infections, Ahmed Al Saeedi, the Minister of Health, said, "Travellers from China, Italy, South Korea and Iran will be subject to screening and quarantine regulations."

"People who have travelled from Japan and Singapore do not need to follow quarantine regulations," he added. "The quarantine regulations for people travelling from these two countries have been removed.
