Muscat: Dr Abdul Munim bin Mansour Al Hasani, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Organising Committee of Muscat International Book Fair, met on Sunday evening with Amir Fehri, Ambassador for the Francophone at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Information welcomed the guest and said that the Muscat International Book Fair is one of the most important child-friendly exhibitions.
He said it holds events that meet children’s scientific, cognitive and recreational needs, noting the civilized role the Sultanate plays in communicating with the peoples of the world and building bridges of love, friendship and peace in all countries and ports through the ‘’Shabab Oman Vessel’ and the message of Islam.
The meeting was attended by Dr Sami Al Kharousi, Chairman of the National Youth Commission, a number of commission members and a number of officials at the Ministry of Information.
It is worth noting that Amir Fehri has won more than 25 international awards, in addition to authoring and publishing five books, the last of which is entitled ‘Harassment.’
