Muscat: “With great attention I have followed the Royal Speech delivered by His Majesty Sultan Haitiam bin Tarik, wherein His Majesty the Sultan stressed the objectives of the upcoming stage of the Blessed Renaissance," said Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma’awali , Chairman of Majlis Al Shura.
The Royal Speech of His Majesty the Sultan dealt with the priorities, enhancement of the peace and security, the aspirations of the sons of Oman, construction and development, education, research and diversification of sources of income, Al Ma’awali added.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has stressed restructuring of the state administrative body and review of the laws and regulations to cope with Oman Vision 2040, he said, adding that Majlis Al Shura would play its legislative and regulatory role to this effect.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary General of Majlis Al Shura said that the Royal Speech of His Majesty Sultan Haitiam bin Tarik draws the features of a new Renaissance, wherein Oman would continue to progress, besides preserving the achievements of the comprehensive development secured during the past five decades led by late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.
Under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, the Royal Speech has touched several areas of new Renaissance. In his Royal Speech, His Majesty the Sultan stressed that education and research would be the top priorities of the Sultanate in the upcoming stage, he said. The Royal Speech of His Majesty the Sultan reflects the Sultanate’s determination for taking necessary procedures for restructuring the state administrative body and optimal utilisation of financial resources, Al Nadabi added.
