Spraying operation to control Desert Locust in North Al Batinah to begin

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries announced that they will be starting spraying operations to control the Desert Locust in Suwaiq and North Al Batinah villages that contain swarms.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries said, “The Ministry announces to the citizens, livestock breeders and honey bee breeders the start of ground spraying operations to control the Desert Locust in the villages affiliated with Al Suwaiq in North Al Batinah Governorate, which contains desert locust swarms and groups.”
