Muscat: Activities of “The Role of Woman and Civil Society in Achieving Development Goals 2030” training course began in Seeb yesterday.

The opening of the training course was held under the patronage of Ali bin Khalfan Al Jabri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information in the presence of Dr Yahya bin Badr Al Ma’awali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development. The five-day course discusses the Sultanate’s efforts in enabling woman regarding harmonisation of laws and legislations in this field.

The course, which is being organised by the Ministry of Social Development, involves specialists from the Sultanate and the GCC countries.
