Locals, expats in Oman invited to invest in Indian businesses

Muscat: Omani citizens and foreign nationals in the country were invited to invest in businesses in India at an event organised by the Indian Embassy in Muscat and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India

"Showcasing business & invest opportunities in India, the ICAI Muscat Chapter, in collaboration with Embassy of India organized a seminar on the India budget 2020," said a statement from the embassy. "Key note speaker CA Dr. Girish Ahuja engaged senior officials of the Oman government, ICAI chapter members and business representatives

"Dr. Ahuja explained the investor friendly budget proposals," added the statement. "The ambassador also addressed the gathering and spoke about progressive investment and business proposals in the budget and strong fundamentals of the Indian economy."
