Earthquake in Iran, over 80 km away from Oman

Muscat: An earthquake has been reported in Southern Iran, 80kms away from Oman on Sunday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre ( EMC ), at the Sultan Qaboos University.

The Center said in a statement: “An earthquake in southern Iran with magnitude of 5.4 ml, at 4:30 PM, and at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake was recorded 87 km away from Khasab.”
