Muscat: Oman Air, the national airline of Oman, has cancelled a small number of flights from May 9 till 31 to Tanzania, Bahrain and India, the airline tweeted on its official twitter handle.
According to the tweets, on all Sundays and Saturdays, between May 9 and 31, WY275/6 Muscat-Jaipur-Muscat, stands cancelled and booked passengers are transferred to WY271/2.
“Passengers scheduled to travel on Saturdays to Jaipur will be transferred to WY275/6 with advance departure time,” the airline tweeted.
The airline has also cancelled its WY207/8 Muscat-Goa-Muscat flights on all Mondays, between May 9 and 31.
Dar-Es-Salaam –Zanzibar-Muscat flights on all Thursdays, between May 9 and 31, have also been cancelled.
According to the airline, flights to Bahrain on Wednesdays between May 9 and 31 also stands cancelled.
“On all Wednesdays WY655/6 Muscat- Bahrain- Muscat stands cancelled and will be combined with WY663/4 to operate Muscat-Doha-Bahrain-Muscat,” the airline tweeted.
In addition to that, the airline tweeted that on all Mondays, WY655/6 Muscat-Bahrain-Muscat stands cancelled and will be combined with WY663/4 to operate Muscat-Doha-Bahrain-Muscat.
The airline added that on all Wednesdays, between May 9 and 31, WY717 Muscat- Dar-Es-Salaam flight will be cancelled and passengers are been re-booked on WY705, departure time 08:40 local time.
And on all Tuesdays, between May 9 and 31, WY705/6 to Zanizbar and Dar-Es-Salaam also stand cancelled.
Earlier, between May 2 till 7, the airline had cancelled some flights to India, Tanzania and Bahrain.
