Fish consignments through this port in Oman is restricted

Muscat: The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries has issued a ministerial decision to prevent the entry and exit of fish consignments through the Khatamat Malaha port.

The decision has excluded the entry of fish consignments from Musandam governorate into the other governorates of the Sultanate.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries said: “According to the veterinary quarantine Law promulgated by Royal Decree, and the Executive Regulations of the Law on Marine Fishing and Protection of “Living Aquatic Wealth’, His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Said bin Suleiman Al Aufi, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries issued a ministerial decision to prevent the entry and exit of fish consignments through the Khatamat Malaha port.”
