Indian national diagnosed with Coronavirus in UAE

An Indian national in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been diagnosed with the novel Coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, This marks the eighth confirmed case to be reported in the UAE.

The Ministry stated that all recorded cases are stable except for one, under intensive care.

More than 40,000 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed globally as of today.

The coronavirus death count now stands at more than 1000, surpassing the 774 deaths during the SARS outbreak in 2002-2003.

China reported 108 deaths on Monday alone, which was the highest in a single day since the outbreak was detected in December.
