Muscat: Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate, in collaboration with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) organised an open day at Golden Tulip Hotel to receive the application for job seekers to train them on customer services and ground handling services.
Asilah bint Salim Al Samsamiyah, Senior Manager Human Resources at Oman Air said that after completing the training trainees will receive a diploma certificate certified by International Air Transport Association.
She added that PDO funded the almost a year-long training of about 400 persons who will be trained at bunches.
It should be noted that Omanisation rate at Oman Air, which operates flights to 50 destinations worldwide, is 60 per cent. The company plans to operate new destination to Iran starting from June 1.
