The UN General Assembly held a special session for eulogy on the death of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres added that His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said gave priority to cooperation and led Oman to joining the UN, the Arab League and the GCC.
