Muscat: The Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), Abdullah bin Ali Al Shafei, in North Al Batinah Governorate, met the Ambassador of South Korea Chang K. Kim.
During the meeting, they examined ways to enhance business and investment cooperation and reinforcing the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
In a statement Oman Chamber said: “Al Shafei pointed out to the investment opportunities of North Al Batinah Governorate and the most significant economic zones such as Sohar Industrial Estate, Suhar Free Zone and Suhar Port that have remarkable privileges and facilities.”
“Also Al Shafei affirmed that Oman has an attractive investment environment notably after promulgation of economic laws by the late of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur, that the Foreign Capital Investment Law was the one of most important laws that gives the investors freehold of the capital company.
