Alawi meets Indian official

Muscat: Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday Pankaj Saran, Indian Deputy National Security Adviser and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relation between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them, in addition to touching on a number of regional and international issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides.
Meanwhile, Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs received at Mu’askar Bait Al Falaj today Pankaj Saran, Indian Deputy National Security Adviser.
The meeting exchanged cordial conversation and reviewed fields of the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries. The two sides also discussed a number of matters of common concern. The Indian official commended level of the good relations between the two countries and the Sultanate’s efforts to maintain peace and security in the region.
The meeting was attended by the Indian appointed-ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the guest.
