Earthquake in Iran, over 500 km away from Oman

Muscat: An earthquake occurred in Southern Iran on Tuesday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre ( EMC ), at the Sultan Qaboos University.

The Center said in a statement: “An earthquake in southern Iran with magnitude of 5.3 ml, at 7:24 PM, and at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake was recorded 504 km away from Khasab.”
