HM receives condolences from Bahrain, Singapore and Kuwait

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of condolences from King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the death of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.
In his cable, the King of Bahrain expressed his deep sadness and sorrow on the demise of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.
He also expressed his fraternal, heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to His Majesty the Sultan on this immense loss of a generous leader whose honourable stances were known by the Arab and Islamic nations. He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant His Majesty the Sultan, the Royal family and the Omani people patience to bear this immense loss, and rest the soul of the late Sultan in peace in paradise.
Singapore
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of condolences from Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore on the demise of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.
In his cable, he expressed, on his own behalf, and on behalf of the government of Singapore, his deep sadness on the passing of the late Sultan. He described the late Sultan as an architect of development and peace. He said that the prestigious position and sustainable development enjoyed by the Sultanate is a gift of the late Sultan to his people and the world. The Singaporean Prime Minister underscored efforts and attention of late Sultan in reforming the Omani domestic arena and improving the living conditions of citizens. He added that late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos was a statesman, par excellence, which is unanimously agreed by all leaders around the world. The Singaporean Prime Minister added that the Jewel of Muscat Ship, which was received by Singapore from the Sultanate would remain an example of civilised communication, building trade ties and strengthening historical relations between the two countries.
Kuwait
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of condolences from His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait on the death of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.
In his cable, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah expressed his condolences and sincere sympathy and that of the Government and the Kuwaiti people to His Majesty the Sultan, the Royal Family and the Omani people on this immense loss of a wise leader.
He also said that the GCC States, the Arab and Muslim countries have lost one of their significant and distinguished leaders.
The Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait also pointed to the honourable stances of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour and praised the Renaissance and prosperity witnessed during the reign of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, praying to Allah to grant His Majesty the Sultan, the Royal family and the Omani people patience to bear this immense loss, and rest the soul of the late Sultan in peace in paradise.
