Muscat: Jabal Akhdar located in Wilayat Nizwa in Al Dakhiliya Governorate, is considered one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Sultanate. It is 3000 meters above sea level and 170 km from the capital Muscat.

According to Oman News Agency (ONA): “Jabal Akhdar is characterized by its mild weather in summer, and cold in winter with occasional snowfall. It is also distinguished by its beautiful agricultural terraces, its unique trees and fruits, towering mountains, diverse terrain, and its wonderful valleys.”
