Muscat: People living in the Sultanate will now have more options to choose from as a highly advanced dental center in the country has opened a new branch in the capital city.
With the first branch being in the heart of Muscat, Ruwi, Al Essa Dental Center has been operating for over 30 years and has now opened a new branch in Al Khuwair 33.
It is a multi-speciality dental care center that offers a wide range of services and specialities including composite filling, simple extraction, gum (periodontal) and ortho treatments, dental implants, crown and bridgework, and much more.
Being pioneers in the field of advanced dentistry, state-of-the-art infrastructure and world-class equipment are provided and managed by a team of highly experienced specialists.
Talking to the Times of Oman on the sidelines of the opening, Dr Prof Gurkeerat Singh, who is an internationally renowned orthodontist at the Center, said that they hope to serve the people of Oman with the highest level of comfort.
“We have been in Muscat for a very long time with the first branch being in CBD and then moved to Ruwi, the centre is equipped with a set of two chairs. Today, this branch, which is situated in a posh locality, comes with a set of three chairs and state-of-the-art equipment. With this, we hope that we are able to serve Omanis and everyone living in the Sultanate to the best of our ability and to the comfort level that they deserve,” Singh said.
He continued saying that the Center is not only equipped with high-end equipment but is also featuring paediatric dentistry and has designated a room for young patients to make them feel at home.
“We have got a special room for our young patients that will make them feel like they are in a playroom than a dental centre. This is what comfort is all about. This will give them a feeling of being at home than an idea of going for a dental check-up,” the orthodontist said.
Singh added that over the years the procedure at the dental clinics have changed and have become painless. “Frankly speaking, things have changed. Considering that in the past 35 years that I have been an orthodontist, I can assure you that a lot of things that we were using earlier were relatively primitive in comparison to what we are doing today. Today dentistry is no longer painful,” he said.
In terms of future plans, Singh said that they are hopeful to add implantology and laser dentistry in the future.
It is to be noted that both Al Essa Dental Centers provide a wide range of well-experienced doctors who are fluent in Arabic and English languages, and has the finest technology and equipment. All branches are developed in the same spirit thereby keeping up with the latest technology in terms of equipment and adapting to the latest advances in dental sciences in terms of treatment protocols.
