Work of ministry officials praised

Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development, represented by the Department of Planning and Development organised, on Monday, the First Annual Planning and Development Forum.
The forum was held in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Said Al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development; Dr Yahya bin Bader Al Mawali, undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development and a number of directors and officials of the Ministry.
In his speech, Dr Al Mawali praised the efforts of the personnel of the Ministry of Social Development aimed to achieve the objectives of the social work strategy (2016-2025).
He also pointed to the objectives of sustainable development.
Dr Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Mahrooqi, Director General for Planning and Studies said that the forum aimed to review the efforts the Ministry of Social Development extended during the year in the various fields of development among other objectives.
