Labour recruitment office closed in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Consumer Protection in Ash Sharqiyah North Governorate recently closed a labour recruitment office.

According to the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP), “The Department of Consumer Protection, in Ash Sharqiyah North Governorate closed a labour recruitment office in Sinaw city in Al Mudhaibi because of complaints against the office for its failure to adhere to transparency and credibility of the rules for consumer rights when providing services. For its violation during the guarantee period, the value of the service will be refunded or performed again properly and in accordance with its nature.”

The PACP also advised to adhere to the morals of transparency and credibility when dealing with consumers in order to avoid falling into legal violations and their consequences.
