Dhofar, Wusta regions receive rain over the weekend

Oman’s Dhofar, Al Wusta and South Sharqiyah governorates received rainfall over the weekend.

However, other parts of the country enjoyed cloudy weather and lower temperatures.

The rain was caused due to a low-pressure formation off the Dhofari coastline.

“The coastal areas of the central governorates of Al Wusta and the Dhofar region witnessed varying precipitation. The chances of rain will continue during the coming hours to include the southeast and the interior of the central Dhofar governorate.” - Directorate of Meteorology, Public Authority for Civil Aviation
