Parts of Oman to receive rains later this week

Muscat: There are chances of clouds advection and rainfall over Dhofar, Al Wusta and South Al Sharqiyah governorates between Friday till Sunday, the 29th, Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), said on Wednesday.

An official from PACA, speaking to Times of Oman, said, "The spread of rain clouds will range between partial or complete, with opportunities for moderate rainfall and occasional thunderstorms, during the next three days over Dhofar, Al Wusta governorates and on all the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea.”

“There is a possibility for rain clouds to form during the end of the current month of December with chances of rain between moderate to heavy, sometimes thunderstorms in the governorates of Al Dhahirah, Al Buraimi, Musandam, North and South Al Batinah and South Al Batinah," the official added.

PACA also forecast mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate on Wednesday.
