Royal Air Force of Oman transports expat to hospital

Muscat: A helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman swung into action on Monday evening to carry out a medevac operation, transporting an Egyptian expat, who was suffering from health issues.

The Ministry of Defence said in a statement, "He was transferred from Dibba Hospital in Musandam Governorate, to the Royal Hospital in Muscat Governorate to receive necessary treatment.”

“This (evacuation) comes within the framework of the humanitarian services provided by the the Sultan's Armed Forces to citizens and expats in the homeland alongside other government institutions,” the statement added.
