State Council to launch book titled ‘The Council Memories’

Muscat: The State Council on Tuesday will launch a commemorative book entitled ‘The Council Memories’, featuring its work over two decades under the patronage of Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, State Council Chairman, in the presence of several Council members and the Secretary-General of the Council.
The book launch marks the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the State Council.
It’s documentation is aimed to collect, amalgamate and segregate documents according to the terms and roles of the convening, process, audit, review and convert paper documents electronically. The book presents exhaustive information about the Council activities and work in thirteen parts, and eighty-eight volumes on six hundred topics in various fields.
Within the framework of the book project, the process has involved employing the requisite technology and the new electronic database includes all draft laws and studies prepared by the Council since its establishment, according to the latest classification, tabulation and indexing standards.
