Muscat: Passengers travelling on Oman Air from Muscat to the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Pakistan Sri Lanka and Egypt will soon be able to take up to 40 kgs of check-in baggage, from 19 December to 31 March, 2020.
People who intend to travel to Manila, Jakarta, Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Goa, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai can take 40kgs of baggage, if they plan on travelling between 10 January and 31 March 2020.
In addition, those who are flying to Karachi, Lahore, Colombo and Cairo, between 19 December 2019, and 31 March, 2020, can also carry up to 40 kgs of luggage with them. However, the number of pieces of baggage carried by each person cannot exceed two.
The offer is available to all those who book tickets to these destinations, between 19 December, 2019 and 31 March, 2020.
Baggage allowances will only be applicable on outbound journeys to these destinations from Muscat, while the inbound journey will require people to abide by baggage allowance rules.
