Career fair with sharp focus on future options

Muscat: A motivation session by noted Indian author Chetan Bhagat will be one of the many highlights of Career Uttsav – Muscat Edition. Besides being an author, Bhagat is an IIT and IIM alumnus and an ex-banker.
Career Uttsav — Muscat Edition — aims at educating students about careers that have not been created and provide a common platform to address questions that have not been asked yet.
Since its beginning in 2013, Career Uttsav has facilitated thousands of students in India to take informed career decisions. The 7th Edition of Career Uttsav, this year is a five-city mega educational event.
The stage is set to reach out to more than 2,00,000 students across Bangalore, Kota (Rajasthan), Jaipur, Muscat (Oman) and Sharjah (UAE).
While Bangalore and Kota Editions received with an overwhelming response, the Jaipur edition is awaited over the coming weekend eagerly by over 4,000 students on 21-22 December.
The event aims to extend a platform to aspiring students in Muscat on 10-11 January, 2020 – to participate under one roof at various workshops, seminars, mock test, psychometric tests and being mentored for their bright and successful career ahead.
The brainchild of the founders of K2 Learning, a premiere commerce education institute, Career Uttsav supported by LearnEd (Hyderabad, India) & Orbit Events Management (Muscat, Oman) dared to initiate an all-encompassing educative career fair to expose parents and students to innumerable career opportunities.
Career Uttsav aims to feature new-age career possibilities through over 18 workshops and seminars.
Besides the workshops and seminars, engaging experience zones; every student accompanied with their parent, will also be able to interact directly with top universities and institutions offering courses in their preferred career choice. Seats in each of these value added seminars/workshops are limited. Therefore students are encouraged to log on to www.careeruttsav.com and pre-register to secure their seat.
Apart from the motivation session by Chetan Bhagat the highlights of the event include showcasing varied and new-age career options, creating career awareness via free workshops and seminars, psychometric assessment & counselling, release of the seventh edition of the book, ‘Careers After +2’ and providing a common platform for institutes and aspirants to interact.

Career Uttsav, has by-far been the only education event that conducts mock competitive tests specially designed by a team of experts. These are aimed to replicate the atmosphere and stress that a student experience on the day of the actual examination. The workshops conducted during the event will also equip students with tips and tricks to understand the pattern of questions and strategies to solve them within the allotted time. ‘It is the first of its kind educational event in Oman.
