Muscat: Adeel Abbas and Sameer Mohammed were the stars of Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre’s (MCCC) exciting win over Indian School Darsait in a Junior League Under-19 clash at Oman Cricket’s grassy ground 2 in Amerat on Saturday.
Adeel bagged 3 for 10 while Sameer and Mustafa took two wickets each, bowling out ISD for a dismal 75 in 16.2 overs. Arjun Rajesh topscored with 18. Sailing wasn’t smooth for MCCC either but it managed to cross the line without much damage, scoring 76 for 4 in 17 overs.
Sameer and Zakriya led the way with solid 21 and 20 respectively.
Brief Scores (Junior League U-19): ISD 75 all out in 16.2 overs (Arjun Rajesh 18 – 4x4, Mohammed Moin 12 – 1x4. Adeel Abbas 3-10, Mustafa 2-22, Sameer Mohammed 2-19) lost to MCCC – U19 76 for 4 in 17 overs (Sameer Mohammed 21 – 2x4, Zakriya Mohammad 20 – 2x4, John Adams 2-7) by 6 wickets.
Dhiman helps MCCC-Yellow past SLSM
In yet another weekend victory, MCCC-Yellow eased past Sri Lankan School Muscat (SLSM) with all-rounder Arjun Dhiman playing the lead role in a Junior League Under-16 game in Amerat.
Dhiman claimed 3 for 17 as SLSM was bundled out for 88 in the 27th over, Devin Wijayananda scoring 22. MCCC-Yellow raced to the target in the 14th over, scoring 90 for 7 thanks to major contributions from Rahul Manohar (28) and Arjun Dhiman (19). Talah Khalid captured four wickets for 34 runs.

ISWK too good for IS Seeb
