Mantheri praises role of advisory Board of GCC Supreme Council

Muscat: Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council, received yesterday a delegation of the Advisory Board Office of the GCC Supreme Council in Muscat headed by Ahmed bin Said Al Hasani, Director General of the Office.
Dr. Al Mantheri praised the role of the Advisory Board of the GCC Supreme Council in expanding the base of consultation among the member states, and carrying out studies on many topics and in various fields in a manner that supports the Council’s march and enhances joint Gulf action.
For his part, Ahmed bin Said Al Hasani, Director General of the Advisory Board Office of the GCC Supreme Council, presented a summary about the advisory board of the GCC Supreme Council, indicating that it was established by a decision of the Supreme Council at its eighteenth session in Kuwait in December 1997.
The meeting was attended by the honourable Dr. Essam bin Ali Al Rowas and the honourable Mohammed bin Youssef Al Zarafi.
