Two arrested in Oman for car fraud

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested two persons for various vehicle related offences.

In a statement, the police said, "North Al Batinah Police Command has arrested two persons for drifting in their vehicles and stealing plates of other vehicles and installing them in one of the seized vehicles to mislead the police as to the identity of the driver.”

“The necessary procedures have been taken and legal proceedings are being completed against them," the ROP added
