Cyclone Kyarr: Several governorates in Oman receive torrential rainfall

Muscat: Several governorates in Oman received torrential rainfall on Thursday as a result of the impact of Tropical Cyclone Kyarr that is currently affecting the Sultanate.

Statistics by the rain monitoring stations under the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources revealed that Sur received the highest amount on Thursday with a total 71 mm of rainfall.

Jalan Bani Bu Ali received 40mm, Qurayat 10mm, Kamil wa Al Wafi 10mm, Masirah 9mm, Jalan bani bu Hassan 4mm and Muscat 4mm.
