Rough seas on Oman coast due to Cyclone Kyarr

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has issued an alert for rough sea weather near the Oman coast for the next few days.

An alert published by PACA read, "Sea alert during the coming days, berserk waves of height between 3 to 5 meters on the coasts of the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar with the possibility of the extension of sea water into low-lying coastal areas coinciding with the center of the cyclone approach in the center of the Arab Sea. Waves are medium to rough with height of 2- 3 m on the coasts of the Oman Sea.”
